Gosh this photo this morning sent me randomly remembering 2 odd books I read many many years ago in different phases of my reading past. Made we wiki them to remember.

A Joycean books-within-books-within… etc. Not his best for me – I read all of his at one time. Sometimes fun, sometimes tiresome to read but with some gem ideas. I had a BIG Russian sci-Fi phase – again not their best but I followed them after seeing Tarkovsky’s Stalker film which was based on their Roadside Picnic book, one of many of theirs I enjoyed. This one was a bit heavy as I recall.I’m sure these random memories are only of interest to me, but I mention them in case you might know of them, and to show how far an image can take one’s mind :-)
